My name is Dr. Apurv Jhawar. I’m originally from India. I relocated to the United States to pursue my passion for dentistry where I completed my dental education at the University of Colorado. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care and helping patients achieve their dental goals at Open and Affordable Dental. Our practice values treating patients with the same level of warmth and attention we would extend to our loved ones. Beyond dentistry, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife, Cesaria, our daughter, Eloise, and our dog, Fendi. I love to stay active through workouts and indulge in travel whenever possible.

Before becoming a Dentist, I spent several years in the construction industry building houses and doing remodels with my Dad and siblings. During those years, I found a love for problem solving, fixing things, and making them look beautiful which I believe guided me to a career in Dentistry. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from BYU- Idaho and received my Dental Training at Roseman University in Utah. I love creating functional/beautiful smiles and working with patients daily to help them reach and maintain their optimal oral health. Being from Colorado, I am beyond excited that I get to serve the community that I grew up in. I graduated from Coronado High School in Colorado Springs where I met my wonderful wife and now, we have 4 kids, and we are living out our dream back at home. When the weather is nice my family likes being outdoors. We enjoy fishing, camping, and hiking.

I don't have dental insurance, what are my options for care?

No insurance? No problem!

We offer an in-office dental discount plan that can help reduce your out-of-pocket costs for care. Your initial visit (including new patient exam & x-rays) is just $29!

What is included in the $29 exam and x-rays advertised on your website?

The $29 promotional price covers a one-time exam and x-rays for new patients. This can be for a specific issue with a single tooth or a comprehensive exam and x-rays for all your teeth. A cleaning is an additional $100 for adults or $67 for children, and fluoride treatment costs an extra $55. If you choose to join our practice, our discount plan offers better value: for $200 per year for an individual or $300 for a family (covering everyone up to age 26), it includes all exams and x-rays for the year, one free simple cleaning, and a 25% discount on any additional dental treatment needed. Essentially if you decide to move ahead with treatment or decide come back to our office for a cleaning, there is no better deal than our discount plan.
