My name is Dr. Jason Stott. I started Open and Affordable Dental and Braces in 2014. I am from Fairfield, Montana, a rural town of 600 people in Northern Montana. I grew up on a dairy farm and have always wanted to be a rural dentist. The goal of Open and Affordable Dental and Braces is to create a small-town atmosphere, where we work hard to make you feel comfortable. My wife Ana Lucia and I have 4 children: Skyler, Yasmeen, Joaquim, and Jason Jr. I love Colorado and have lived here since 2000.

My name is Dr. Jeremy Barkoff. I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I fell in love with Colorado when I moved here in 2006. In our free time, my wife Annie and I enjoy traveling, rock climbing, skiing, and of course country dancing.

My name is Dr. Annie Bielinski. I grew up in my family's dental practice in Chicago, where both of my parents, aunt, and grandpa were dentists. I fell in love with small town Colorado when I moved to Basalt in 2005. I graduated dental school from The University of Colorado and have a passion for helping people with dental anxiety. On my days off you can find me in the mountains with my husband Jeremy, skiing, swing dancing, or eating tacos.

My name is Dr. Kim Nhi Lisa Van. I am a Colorado native, originally from Lakewood, CO. I graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. I am fluent in Vietnamese and in my free time I enjoy hiking and staying active. My favorite hobby is cooking and I LOVE going on food adventures! My passion in dentistry is to provide for the community and give them the best smile possible.

My Name is Dr. Joshua Piper. I grew up in central Kansas where I graduated top of my class at the University of Missouri Kansas City Dental School. My wife Libby and I have twins. In my free time, I enjoy doing outdoor activities with my family. I love golfing and hiking. I strive to deliver patient centered care that is individually tailored to each and every person. I love getting to know each patient and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

My name is Dr. Gavin Whitman. My wife Kathryn and I love to explore the outdoor wonders of Colorado. We enjoy spending time with our daughter Willa, taking her on adventures. I feel honored to serve the La Salle community and the greater Northern Colorado area. I pride myself on offering a welcoming, judgment-free environment for my patients to achieve their dental goals.

My name is Dr. Igor Traktinskiy. I grew up in Colorado where I went to college and dental school at the University of Colorado. When not working, I like to travel and hike with my wife Nancy.  My passion in dentistry is helping individuals overcome their barriers to achieve their ideal smile.

My name is Dr. Simone Leonard. I am a Colorado native who loves hiking, biking, skiing, and doing everything Colorado, especially with my husband Chris and my dog Teddy! I was captain of my tennis team in college and played professionally for a few years after college. Most of all, I love dentistry, and helping people and their families become the healthier and happier version of themselves!

My name is Mei Saelee. I grew up in Alaska and fell in love with Colorado when I attended dental school at the University of Colorado.  I have two children, Aeson and Mina.  My husband Rocky and I love spending time in the outdoors with them.  I love helping patients achieve their ideal smile in an inviting and calm atmosphere.

My name is Dr. Connie Lan. I’m from Seoul, South Korea and grew up in the beautiful desert of Phoenix, AZ. I graduated from The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and furthered my education at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, completing an Advanced Education Program in General Practice. My patients value that I make every effort to create the best possible dental experience by helping them feel welcome, comfortable, and appreciated. I love using my knowledge and training to customize treatment to each patient’s unique needs and creating lifelong doctor-patient relationships.

My name is Wesley Stanton. I am a Colorado native and love all the outdoor activities Colorado offers. In my free time, I love to ski, fish and BBQ grill. I attended the University of Colorado for both my undergraduate and graduate studies. I am passionate about providing the gentlest dental care possible and creating a relaxing, no-stress and comfortable environment for my patients.

My name is Dr. Meg Dinkel. Although my three siblings and I grew up all over (Go Navy!), Colorado has always been my family’s home base—both sets of my grandparents are from Colorado (Arvada and Golden). I studied at the University of Denver before graduating from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. I love spending quality time with my family and my fiancé Dr. Matt Iritani. I enjoy long walks, thought-provoking podcasts, beautiful bike rides, paddle-boarding, and rollerblading. One of my greatest joys is dentistry. I love helping my patients reach their dental goals and maintaining healthy & happy smiles that last a lifetime! 

Hey y'all my name is Dr. Ethan Wire and I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. I studied dentistry at the Medical University of South Carolina in sunny Charleston, SC, but have traded the beach for the mountains of Colorado. I enjoy any activity that gets me outside such as golf, fly fishing, hiking, and camping. I grew up working in a kitchen and love taking on challenging recipes as well as exploring restaurants in the surrounding area. I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level and customize treatment based on their specific needs. I value a quality dental patient experience and look forward to serving the Broomfield community. Your dental health and comfort during your experience is my number one priority. 

My name is Dr. Mark Velemirovich. I am from Thompson, Manitoba, Canada, a small mining town near the arctic circle. My wife, Kelsey, and I have called Colorado home since 2010 and have since welcomed our two children, Myles and Leah, to our family. We love to take advantage of the beautiful outdoors Colorado has to offer and are avid skiers and hikers. I love dentistry and working with patients to help them achieve their ideal smile.

My name is Dr. Ryan Koster. I am from Missoula, Montana and fell in love with Colorado when I moved here for dental school. In dental school I met my fiancée, Emma. In our free time, we enjoy mountain biking, snow and water skiing, hiking, and everything outdoors. We also love to meet new people and learn from their experiences. It is my passion to help patients achieve their ideal smile and oral health in the most comfortable environment possible.

My name is Dr. Apurv Jhawar. I’m originally from India. I relocated to the United States to pursue my passion for dentistry where I completed my dental education at the University of Colorado. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care and helping patients achieve their dental goals at Open and Affordable Dental. Our practice values treating patients with the same level of warmth and attention we would extend to our loved ones. Beyond dentistry, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife, Cesaria, our daughter, Eloise, and our dog, Fendi. I love to stay active through workouts and indulge in travel whenever possible.

Hello! My name is David Chen. I grew up in Colorado. I’ve traveled a bit but Colorado always keeps bringing me back. I’m always trying to find time to ski, mountain bike, and shoot hoops. I also love good TV, music and movies, and I listen to all kinds of podcasts and audiobooks. I’m a huge fan of the Nuggets and Broncos, and the Rockies and Avs are cool too. Dentistry is an incredible field that keeps me inspired and itching to learn, and I want to make you as comfortable as possible at all times when we’re trying to achieve your dental goals, whatever they may be. My name is Dr. Fadi Zrik.  I grew up on the east coast and fell in love with the mountains learning to ski and dirt bike.  I moved to Colorado in 2021.  I strive to make your dental visits as easy and comfortable for you as possible while tailoring your dental care specifically to your needs in order to create your perfect smile.

My name is Rachel Hain. I lived all my life in Texas before moving to Colorado with my husband and two pups in 2019. Like most, we came for the great outdoors. I also love the arts, be it music, theater or painting.

Hello! My name is Dr. Jaipal Singh. I was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas. I graduated from the illustrious Howard University College of Dentistry. I take great pride in providing comprehensive dental services to all patients in a comfortable environment, while building long lasting relationships. When I am not in the office, you may catch me skiing, playing soccer, gardening, or yelling at one of the many sports teams I follow. It is an honor to serve the Englewood Community.

Hi! My name is Dr. Alexis Yee. I grew up in California where I began my education at the University of California, Irvine and completed my dental degree in San Francisco. I strive to provide an open environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their oral health needs to reach their ideal smile. As cheesy as it might sound, I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level while hoping to make a positive impact on their lives. Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, going to music concerts and festivals, and adventuring the outdoors. My name is Dr. Isabelle Rusden. I grew up in Fort Collins and love Northern Colorado! I studied at Marquette University before graduating from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. My name is Dr. Ty Weisenburger. I graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2022. I am committed to always provide the highest quality dental care to all my patients. Hey! My name is Bryan Smith. I was born in Missouri and attended dental school in Kansas City. In my free time I enjoy snowboarding, and playing guitar, and consider myself a lifelong learner. My name is Dr. Anthony Dang. I am a Colorado native coming from Aurora, Colorado. I grew up playing basketball and tennis, where my love of pickleball has come into fruition recently. I love exploring countries and trying new cuisines. I strive to provide patient-centered oral care while fostering meaningful relationships. I am honored to help patients reach their ideal smiles.

My name is Dr. Bo Omar. I was born in Kenya and since then grew up in-between Saudi Arabia and Syria till we finally called Colorado our last home in 05’. I have completed my undergraduate degree and dental degree from University of Colorado, and recently came back to Colorado from Omaha after completing my General Practice Residency program from the University of Nebraska Medical Center/VA Western Iowa. I love traveling, baking, reading, gardening, and listening to old school style podcasts. My mission is to improve the overall dental health of all my patients through healing and learning. My name is Dr. Girma Seyoum. I am originally from Ethiopia but I’ve lived in Colorado for over 25yrs. I love Colorado and glad to call it home (Go Broncos). I am fluent in Amharic and in my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. I graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2013 and have been working to serve the underserve community at Denver Health and Colorado Coalition for the Homeless for the past 8 years. I’m excited to continue my journey at Open and Affordable Dental treating my patients like my friends and family. My wife Tsion and I have twin daughters: Maya and Grace.

My name is Dr. Nibal Zrik and I grew up in northern Virginia and attended VCU School of Dentistry. My wife and I moved to Denver to enjoy the incredible outdoor lifestyle that Colorado has to offer. In my free time I enjoy skiing, dirt biking, mountain biking, and fly fishing. I have wanted to become a dentist since I had a terrible toothache at the age of fifteen. I love what I do and pride myself on making every patient feel comfortable and respected.

My name is Dr. Patrick Hoblitzell. I grew up in the suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio. I attended the University of Louisville in Kentucky for my degree in Biomedical Engineering. It was during my time in college that I first became impassioned about the dental field. After suffering a sports injury leaving both of my adult front teeth fractured, I realized the transformative power of dentistry first-hand when they were repaired with crowns by my hometown dentist. I strive to provide that same life changing treatment for my patients whether they require comprehensive dental care or minor aesthetic procedures. I attended dental school at my undergraduate alma mater, the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where I earned my DMD. After dental school, I moved to Missouri where I practiced dentistry briefly before making Colorado my permanent home. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors and spending time in the mountains skiing in the winter and hiking during the summer. I love rock climbing, lifting weights, and running in my free time.

I was born in Chicago, Illinois but raised in Southeast Denver since 1974. After completing my undergraduate degree at Regis College, I went on to the University of Colorado where I earned my Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1998. With over two decades of experience in dentistry, I have learned the importance of fostering success in others so that they may see success in themselves. This philosophy is the cornerstone of my patient-centric approach to dentistry. I strive to provide my patients with a custom-tailored experience by listening to their clinical and emotional needs to create a safe and comfortable environment where patients feel like they can participate in their care. When I am not practicing dentistry, you can find me spending time with my husband Michael and our two sons, Dominic and Matteo. My family and I enjoy attending sporting events, going on road trips, and trying out the new restaurants that pop up around Denver.

I grew up in rural Missouri as the youngest of four siblings. I was fortunate to graduate as valedictorian from the small North Pemiscot High School in the year 2000. Following that, I attended the University of Missouri to study Art History and Archaeology. However, I had a brief stint in broadcast radio before deciding to return to university to pursue a BA in Chemistry and Art at the University of New Mexico in 2011. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for Dentistry, which led me to attend the University of Colorado where I earned my DDS degree. In my free time, I enjoy the company of my two furry friends and take them on small hikes. I also have a love for camping, art, and bicycling.

My name is Dr. Patricia Moreno. I grew up in Mexico and moved to the United States at a young age. I attended Howard University College of Dentistry, and the UNM School of Medicine for an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). I have worked in Community health settings for many years and throughout my dental career I have had the privilege of helping populations from different backgrounds. My approach as a dental provider is to be compassionate and to provide the highest quality of care. Some of my hobbies include hiking with my dog, learning golf, Latin dancing, traveling and CrossFit.

My name is Dr. Makenna Fopma. I am a Colorado native, originally from Broomfield, CO. I studied at the University of Sioux Falls completing a degree in Biology and playing collegiate volleyball before returning home to complete my DDS at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. My husband Kevin and I absolutely love living in this beautiful state. We enjoy walking our two huskies Rocky and Glacier, as well as attending Colorado Avalanche games on the regular. I love spending quality time with my family, soaking up Colorado sunshine, going to church, eating yummy food, and reading! Dentistry and transforming smiles is my passion. It brings me so much JOY to be able to serve and connect with my patients on a personal level and help them reach their dental goals!

My name is Dr. Ginneth Mackenzie. I was born in Colombia and moved to Colorado over 20 years ago. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biology at CU Denver and then went on to earn my dental degree at CU School of Dental Medicine. I hope to work together with my patients to improve their oral health and well-being using science, art, and compassion to create beautiful and functional solution to dental problems. When I'm not working, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I'm a homebody who enjoys reading, watching movies, playing board games, and cooking. Although, I no longer play as much as I used to, I enjoy sports including soccer, volleyball, and tennis. I also like to try new foods from different cuisines and cultures, and it is my favorite part about traveling. I'm always open to new experiences and learning new things.

My name is Dr. Dani Ortiz. I was born in Mexico and moved to the Florida Keys when I was very young. Growing up on an island allowed me to embrace a laid-back lifestyle and instilled in me an appreciation and love for nature and the simple pleasures in life. I received my Bachelors in Exercise Physiology at Florida State University and a Masters in Medical Sciences at the University of South Florida. I attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where I discovered a passion for working with underserved communities. I believe in educating my patients to empower them to making the best decisions for their unique dental journey. My name is Faith Meyer and I am a Colorado native born and raised in Denver. My name is Lillian Sessions. I grew up in a small town called Webberville, located in mid-Michigan, graduating high school with 50 classmates. I met my husband shortly after starting my undergraduate studies in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We have traveled to Colorado several times in the past and decided we wanted to start our married life in this beautiful state. We enjoy all outdoor activities especially if we can bring our goofy golden retriever named Sullivan. I graduated from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in May 2023 where I enjoyed leading our ADEA chapter and heading my own research project. I am eager to meet all the lovely new faces and build long lasting relationships with my colleagues and patients. I'm Dr. Felecia Parker. Originally from North Carolina, I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Go Tar Heels! Colorado has always held a special place in my heart, and in 2014, my family and I decided to make it our home. I enjoy the simple things in life with my wonderful husband, Vince. We love taking walks in nature, going to beaches, bowling and spending time together. Our family includes three daughters, two dogs, and a cat. Being a dentist is my true passion because I believe a smile can transform lives. My name is Dr. Cameron Shepherd. As a proud dual citizen of Australia and the United States, I've had the opportunity to experience the best of both worlds. My educational journey started with personal training in Australia before I followed my passion for dentistry back to the USA. When I'm not busy working on smiles, you'll find me strumming on my guitar, hitting the pavement for a refreshing run, catching waves on my surfboard, or simply enjoying quality time with my dogs. I grew up in a small town in eastern Colorado, attended college in Lindsborg, Kansas where I played softball and then attended University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Hello! My name is Dr. Jina Zrik. I come from a tight-knit family of two incredible parents and two older brothers who mean the world to me. I grew up in Virginia after emigrating from Syria at the age of one. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. I have always had a passion for fixing things and helping people, and I fell in love with dentistry after volunteering in college at a free clinic where dental care was provided to people who did not have insurance and couldn’t afford any treatment. One of my favorite aspects of being a dentist is getting to know all of my patients and keeping up with them over the years of treating them and their wonderful family members. If I’m not at work, I’m probably in the gym lifting weights, trying to find new delicious restaurants with my amazing husband, playing video games, watching sports, or spending time with my beautiful family!

My name is Dr. Thuy Trang. I was born and raised in Denver and completed all of my schooling here. I graduated from CU Boulder with a Bachelors in Integrative Physiology. Hey there, my name is Dr. Samyak Shah. I grew up in Florida and where I graduated from the University of Florida. I went on to attend the New York College of Dentistry in Manhattan, NY. Whether it's a routine check-up or finding a creative solution to a dental challenge, my goal is to bring a smile to your face and try and make your visit as painless as possible. In my free time I love working out, wood working, hiking, climbing, and making pizza!

My name is Dr. Cody DelReal. I am Colorado born, raised, and trained. I grew up in this beautiful state playing football, basketball and track and field. I love to spend time with my beautiful wife and son. I am currently an avid disc golfer and spend my leisure time playing in tournaments. My name is Dr. Katie Fay and I am from Kansas City. I moved to Denver seven years ago to attend the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and decided to stay. I enjoy playing with my corgi, Lentil, hiking, reading, and practicing Spanish. My name is Dr. Neha Toshniwal. I grew up in India and practiced dentistry there before moving to the US. I completed my dental education in the US at University of Colorado School of Dental medicine. I worked as a dentist in Utah and Washington before moving back to Colorado. I love dentistry and have great passion to give my patients happy and healthy smiles. When I am not working I love traveling, hiking and spending time with my husband and my son.

My name is Justin McPhee. I grew up on the east coast in Virginia, going to school at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and then VCU School of Dentistry to complete my DDS degree. Spending free time mountain biking, skiing, climbing and dirt biking, my wife Allison and I knew Colorado was our new home. My passion for dentistry started as early as third grade when I was a dentist for Halloween. This passion and love for the field has only grown the more I am able to help patients feel comfortable in the dental chair, work together to better their oral health, and address concerns important to them. I pride myself in treating everyone as if they were family and creating a welcoming environment in the office.
