Dr. Apurv Jhawar

Doctor of Dental Surgery

My name is Dr. Apurv Jhawar. I’m originally from India. I relocated to the United States to pursue my passion for dentistry where I completed my dental education at the University of Colorado. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care and helping patients achieve their dental goals at Open and Affordable Dental. Our practice values treating patients with the same level of warmth and attention we would extend to our loved ones. Beyond dentistry, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife, Cesaria, our daughter, Eloise, and our dog, Fendi. I love to stay active through workouts and indulge in travel whenever possible.

Dr. Emma Bockrath

Doctor of Dental Surgery

Hi, I’m Dr. Emma Bockrath! I grew up in Dayton, Ohio with 3 sisters and 1 brother, and graduated from the Ohio State College of Dentistry. Building trusting relationships with my patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles is my favorite part of being a dentist. I ensure to tailor each appointment to not only address my patients’ specific concerns, but to also make them feel comfortable and at ease. Outside of the office, I am often immersing myself in the incredible outdoor adventures this state offers—whether it’s hiking fourteeners, rock climbing, or snowboarding, I love it all! When I am not in the mountains, I enjoy cooking, finding a new craft, and going on morning walks to a coffee shop with my golden retriever, Moose!

Dr. John Esquivez

Doctor of Dental Surgery

My name is Dr. John Esquivez. I’m originally from Arizona and earned my degree in Medicinal Biochemistry from Arizona State University before graduating from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. I’ve been working in the dental field for over 12 years now, and it’s more than just a career for me, it’s something I truly love. I’m passionate about dentistry and deeply committed to providing honest, compassionate care to every patient I see. My goal is always to treat people with the same respect and integrity I’d want for my own family. When I’m not in the office, my greatest joy is spending time with my wife and our three amazing kids. Being a husband and father is at the core of who I am. I try every day to show up for them with intention, love, and patience. I am always striving to be the best I can be for them, just as I do for my patients.
