My name is Dr. Makenna Fopma. I am a Colorado native, originally from Broomfield, CO. I studied at the University of Sioux Falls completing a degree in Biology and playing collegiate volleyball before returning home to complete my DDS at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. My husband Kevin and I absolutely love living in this beautiful state. We enjoy walking our two huskies Rocky and Glacier, as well as attending Colorado Avalanche games on the regular. I love spending quality time with my family, soaking up Colorado sunshine, going to church, eating yummy food, and reading! Dentistry and transforming smiles is my passion. It brings me so much JOY to be able to serve and connect with my patients on a personal level and help them reach their dental goals!

Dr. Makenna Fopma, affectionately known as "Dr. Fop," is a dedicated dentist practicing at Open and Affordable Dental Aurora South in Aurora, Colorado. A Colorado native from Broomfield, she pursued her undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of Sioux Falls. 

Dr. Fopma earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where she was recognized with the Predoctoral Student Prosthodontic Achievement Award. She is committed to providing comprehensive dental care, emphasizing patient education and preventive dentistry. 

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Fopma enjoys taking walks with her husband, son, and their two huskies.
